In an article in NYT, Farid Senzai argues that the Republican Party will pay a heavy price for Anti-Muslim rhetoric in battle ground swing states like Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Virgina and Pennsylvania.
He Says ”
While an anti-Muslim strategy may have worked in the past, it is risky because many agree that the outcome of the 2012 presidential election will probably be determined in no more than twelve states. These are the same states where minority groups, including American Muslims, are likely to play a decisive role. A report released this week by the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, where I am the director of research, suggests that this community is becoming an increasingly important player in electoral politics and might well play a surprisingly important role in this year’s election.”

HE FULLY SUPPORTS THE ATTEMPT BY REPUBLICANS TO HAVE A LAW FORBIDDING MUSLIM WOMEN THE RIGHT TO PUT ON HEADWEAR IN KEEPING WITH THE FAITH.BUT THUS FAR NOBODY HAS CONTACTED HIS RADIO AFFILIATE STATIONS,NO OUTCRY TO HIS ADVERTISERS,AND NO WRITTEN OR SPOKEN OBJECTION HAS BEEN MADE BY ANYONE.
I AM NOT MUSLIM BUT IF MY RELIGIN WAS ATTACKED BY LIMBAUGH I WOULD START TO CONTACT POLITICIANS,RADIO STATIONS,ADVERTISERS,ETC. TO PUT A MUSSLE ON LIMBAUGH AND HIS BIGOTRY.MAYBE THE MUSLIMS WILL STAND UP TO LIMBAUGH FINALLY AND HAVE HIM STOP INSULTING WOMEN OF FAITH AND OLYMPIANS
