I consulted my Urdu dictionary to get the meaning of “ISTIKHHARAA”
The meaning is:
At a difficult juncture or in a complicated situation when mind does not work,
through specific procedures asking for supernatural help and guidelines to make a decision.
Here is the problem with Muslims; if masses do “istikhharaa” it is understandable. Masses are not empowered to deal with complexities of life.
If the intellectuals start doing ISTIKHHARRA, to solve the complexities of life, the nation is condemned to be doomed.
If you read the QATA’A, it tells you the dilemma of Muslim.
I am interpreting QATA’A.
The QATAA may not be a true reflection of reality.
It may be just a poetic fantasy or recreational play with words!!
