One thought on “‘ Strange Meeting ” A Poem by Wilfred Owen

  1. Nothing reveals man the way war does. We speak of those we fight with only in the abstract and thus strip them off their human qualities. Plato said, “Only the dead have seen the end of war.” And nothing reveals peace the way this beautiful poem does. May be justifying that war is for the sake of an everlasting peace.
