Dr. Fayyaz Sahib, it’s a wonderful song; an exposition of eternal love. The lyrics express the poet’s depth of emotion. The singer has done full justice by giving life to the emotions of the poet. For me this justifies what is said by the Prophet of Islam, “Woman is the masterpiece of God’s creation.” But Rumi went further by saying “she is not just created; she is a creator.” For my naturalist friends, I dare change it that a woman is the masterpiece of nature’s creation; without her there would have neither been evolution nor any creation. . . .
